Measat

Measat Satellite Systems, established in 1992, is a Malaysia-based operator whose fleet includes Measat-3a, Measat-3b, and Measat-3d. Measat’s service coverage extends to over 150 countries from Asia and Australia to Africa and the Middle East; however, most of its business is derived from Malaysia, Indonesia and India. T. Ananda Krishnan, a Malaysian billionaire who also owns Measat’s two largest clients – Astro and Maxis, acquired full control of Measat in 2010, taking the company private.
